1. Choose your materials from our store
The materials available at Esencya.pl are concentrated perfumery ingredients - essential oils and aroma molecules. They are used in small amounts and added to your chosen base. These are the components that give the final product its scent.
Don't worry about complex chemical names - these are substances whose aromas surround us every day.
2. Use the right base
Depending on what you want to create:
Perfume - use perfumer's alcohol.
Perfume oils/balms/cosmetics - add fragrance ingredients to an appropriate oil or cosmetic base.
Candles and wax melts - blend the scents into melted wax.
Reed diffusers - dilute them in a dedicated diffuser base.
3. Add the fragrance material
Most ingredients are very potent. Typical usage levels range from 1 to 15%, depending on the product and the intensity you want to achieve.
4. Mix and let it rest
Fragrances need a bit of time to blend with the base.
Perfumes mature best over several days or even a few weeks.
Candles can be used as soon as the wax has set.
5. Experiment
There is no single perfect formula. Start with small batches and gradually add more until you achieve the result you like.
Safety
Each material comes with an IFRA document that specifies the maximum safe concentration for different applications (perfumes, balms, candles, etc.). All IFRA files can be found in the Downloads section on the product page.
