Geosmin 1% TEC

Geosmin is a natural compound responsible for the characteristic smell of wet earth after rain. It is intense, earthy and damp, evoking a forest right after a downpour. In perfumery it is used sparingly to give compositions depth and a natural, organic character. A note that works very emotionally - many people perceive it as the smell of nature and freshness. The substance is already diluted to 1% and its scent is still powerful - we suggest caution when using it.
