Camphor

Camphor stands out with an intense, cool aroma that immediately evokes freshness, cleanliness and crisp, cold air. Its scent combines distinct herbal accents with a slightly eucalyptus, woody character, creating a strong and very characteristic effect.

In perfume compositions camphor works great as an ingredient that adds freshness and expressiveness. It works particularly well with coniferous, minty, eucalyptus and aromatic notes, giving them a cooler and more dynamic character. Due to its high intensity it is best used in small amounts - just a little is enough to give a composition a distinct, fresh accent.

It combines well with pine, cedar, lavender, rosemary, mint and eucalyptus, among others. Camphor is an interesting choice for aromatic, herbal and forest compositions where a distinct effect of freshness is needed.
